Reliance Jio denies launch of Jio Coin app

After a report shown by Times of india in which Number of fake apps were found on Google play selling Jiocoins, Finally an Official Statement has been made by Reliance Jio in which they have denied the launch on any such Jiocoin App.

“Reliance Jio would like to inform the public and media that there are no such apps offered by the company or its affiliates / associates. Any such apps using the JioCoin name are fake and people are advised to refrain from dealing with any of them,“

 A mobile application with more than 10k downloads was seen Google play store in with the name of “Jio Coin” published by “Reliance Digital”. The tag line of the app said “Jio Coin New Digital Currency for India”.
Also some reports claimed that there could be a security risk in installing such apps in your phone as some of these apps could be hiding a new kind of malware, which uses the processing power of your phone to mine cryptocurrencies in the background. 
According To a report the a Fake Jio Coin App  have already   scammed few people by Selling them Jio Coins which don,t even exist so far.
